Emily in France 🇫🇷 Is... Honestly Going a Little Stir-Crazy
Self-isolation, day 8.
So... as much as I tell myself that working from home during confinement is the same as working from home the rest of the year... it ain't. My brain is a little mushy. Luckily, the sun is out, and the Internet is teeming with funny stuff. So let's get to it.
1. There is an entire YouTube channel of celebrities reading books aloud. I'm partial to Chris O'Dowd reading Arnie the Doughnut, because it's just that kind of day.
2. In slightly more highbrow reading material, Canadian authors have shared their quarantine reading lists with Globe & Mail.
3. And if you need a glimpse of Outside, the Paris Tourism Office has asked people to share pictures of Paris from their windows.
4. Spouses share the hilarious things they've learned about their partners' work habits while working at home with them.
5. A Toulouse man ran an entire marathon on his 7-meter balcony during confinement.
6. The Paris philharmonic is streaming live concerts.
7. Want to go down a YouTube hole? Watch Steven and Andrew eat a lot of food in Los Angeles. I do it all the time.
Stay safe, stay INSIDE, and à bientôt !
