Emily In France Exclusive π«π· Ice Cream (This Time with Photos!)
Glace a-go-go.
Paris is slowly but surely emptying of its full-time residents, and those of us remaining are in search of two things: air conditioning and ice cream. (The latter is far easier to come by than the former.) And if you want to know where I go... well that's why you're here, isn't it?
With no further ado... here are my faves.
The Stalwart: Sucre Glace
Located just off the Canal Saint-Martin, Sucre Glace boasts big flavors and big portions. I'mΒ particularly fond of their sorbets, which often marry fruits and herbs (blueberry-elderflower and apricot-rosemary are two faves). The ice creams themselves are rich and creamy; I usually get one of each (as I did in the photo above, pairing fig and luscious hazelnut) and plunk down on the quaiΒ to watch the boats go by!
