Emily in France Isn't in France

I'm salty.
Not salty-salty. I've just been immersing myself in saltwater for a whole week on Long Island. It's glorious.
I've read eight books.
I've spent an average of 20 minutes on my phone every day.
I wouldn't change a thing.
So this newsletter will be fairly short and sweet – there's still a scrap of sunshine out, and I want to chase it.

Where I'm Eating
If you're looking for a spot to beat the heat in Paris, try the lovely outdoor terrace at Marcello.
And, as always, you can find my list of top Parisian restaurants here.
Where I'm Going
Shelter Island, Brooklyn, and Manhattan!

What I'm Writing
1. What languages should you learn this year? I took a look at the top 10 for GoOverseas.
2. Wine regions are suffering due to climate change – but they're also contributing to it. I looked at three ways to make your next glass more sustainable for Organic Authority.
3. From the archives: beat the summer heat with this raw zucchini ribbon, white bean, and pickled anchovy salad I developed for EatingWell.

What I'm Reading
I fell head-over-heels in love with this love story. Read my review on the blog.
A bientôt !
